The load doesn't match the ticket
Topsoil that's three yards short, gravel that's the wrong gradation, "clean fill" with rebar in it. When the slip says one thing and the pile says another, the crew loses the day.

Bulk material delivery
Topsoil, gravel, stone, sand, mulch and clean fill — delivered on time across Westchester, Putnam, Dutchess, Orange and Rockland counties, by people who actually answer the phone.
Reliable bulk delivery
Whether you're a contractor running a job site, a landscaper finishing a backyard, or a homeowner taking on a weekend project — we deliver real material, on the day we promised, in the right truck for your driveway. No tickets short. No "stuck in dispatch." No mystery surcharges.
On a typical week our trucks move topsoil for a landscaper finishing a new lawn in northern Westchester, drainage stone for a contractor pouring a foundation in Putnam, and a few yards of mulch for a homeowner up in Dutchess. Loads run from half-truck residential orders right up to multi-load commercial site work — same trucks, same source yards, same flat pricing. The only thing that changes is how much rolls off the tailgate.
Our trucks dispatch out of Putnam County, so jobs along the I-84 corridor and the Taconic State Parkway are usually our fastest turnaround — same-day or next-day in most cases. Westchester, Putnam and Dutchess are our core counties; Orange and Rockland we run on a per-job basis with a little more lead time so we can route around the other loads on the schedule and give you a real delivery window, not a guess.
Not sure if your site is in range, or what truck will fit your access? Send a quick photo and the rough yardage and we'll come back with a flat all-in quote the same business day. More about who's running the truck.
Where it goes wrong
Bulk material looks straightforward on the quote sheet and gets complicated on the ground. Here's where projects most often get stuck — and the kind of vendor that keeps you from losing the day.
Topsoil that's three yards short, gravel that's the wrong gradation, "clean fill" with rebar in it. When the slip says one thing and the pile says another, the crew loses the day.
A 30-ton tri-axle on residential blacktop is how seal coats crack. Right-sizing the truck to the access matters more than shaving a few dollars off the per-yard rate.
"Sometime Tuesday" is not a delivery window. Crews can't stage the dump, homeowners can't move the cars, and the truck idles in the road while everyone scrambles.
Fuel, mileage, weekend, after-hours fees added when the wheel is already turning. A real bulk quote is one all-in number, agreed before dispatch — not negotiated on the driveway.
A five-yard residential job ends up paying a full-truck minimum, or you spend Saturday hauling pickup loads. A real local supplier scales with the project, not against it.
When a load is short or the drop is in the wrong spot, you want a number that rings to a person who can fix it — not a dispatch line that opens a ticket for tomorrow.
Materials we carry
The full list — and if you don't see what you need, ask. Most of our suppliers carry a wider catalog than what's listed here.
Quality screened topsoil for new lawns, planting beds, and grading. Available by the yard or full truckload.
Driveway gravel, drainage stone, decorative gravel and crushed run for base layers and trenches.
Mason sand, beach sand, paver base and stone dust for walkways, patios and pool installs.
Hardwood mulch by the yard, plus clean fill for grading and structural backfill.
Why us
One supplier for the whole project. Consolidate orders so you get one truck, one delivery window, and one invoice.
We dispatch from local yards and route around your job — earlier morning drop, after-hours where allowed, swap-out availability for ongoing builds.
Rate is based on material + delivery zone. No hidden surcharges, no inflation when the truck rolls.
Our process
Five steps from the first call to the last load — so the truck shows up when we said it would, drops where you marked it, and leaves you with a slip that matches the pile.
Call, text or use the form — material, volume, and where it's going. We send a flat all-in quote (material + delivery) usually within the same business day.
Tight driveway? Low branches? Septic field to drive around? We right-size the truck so we hit the drop without tearing up your yard or your blacktop.
A specific day with a tight window — not "sometime Tuesday." For ongoing builds we coordinate same-day repeat loads or material swap-outs so your crew never waits on a yard.
Back in carefully, dump where you said, walk the load with you, and confirm the slip before leaving. Need septic, dumpster or grading on the same job? Same crew, one invoice.

What it costs
Every delivery is different — material, volume, distance and access all move the number, and an honest published price list would have too many footnotes to be useful. What we promise is one flat all-in number, quoted before dispatch, that matches the invoice.
Request a Free QuoteTopsoil, screened loam, gravel, stone, sand, mulch and clean fill each price differently per yard at the source yard. Picking the right material for the application is the biggest lever on the quote.
Per-yard rate generally drops as the load grows. A two-yard job pays for the trip more than the material; a full truck pays mostly for the material. Bigger jobs are cheaper per yard.
Distance from the source yard to your site. Inside our core counties (Westchester, Putnam, Dutchess) the rate is flat by zone; Orange, Rockland and outlying jobs run on a per-mile basis.
Tri-axle, tandem and ten-wheeler each carry different volumes at different rates. Where access forces a smaller truck the total cost goes up — same yardage, more trips.
Standard weekday delivery is the base rate. Same-day, weekend or after-hours drops are quoted up front when we can swing them — never added to the invoice at the curb.
Long-running builds with multiple loads and ongoing material changes are priced as a project, not as one-off deliveries. We bundle the trips into a single rate.
Standards
Our suppliers are vetted. Topsoil is real topsoil, gravel is the spec you ordered, and the load on the truck matches the slip.
We bring the right truck for the access. Tight driveway? Tri-axle won't work? We'll right-size the equipment so we're not tearing up your yard.
A real ETA on delivery day, plus a courtesy call when the driver's 30 minutes out so you're not waiting all afternoon.

Most materials are priced per cubic yard, with delivery added based on distance from our yard. We'll quote you a flat all-in price up front so there are no surprises when the truck arrives.
Capacity depends on the truck and the material. A typical tandem dump can carry roughly 12–14 yards of topsoil or 14–17 tons of stone. For big jobs we'll run multiple loads on the same day.
In most cases, yes — we just need to be able to safely back in. We'll walk the access with you (or a photo over text) before scheduling so we know we can hit the drop without damaging your driveway or landscaping.
For local deliveries we generally don't have a strict minimum, but smaller-than-half-truck orders are usually more cost-effective if you can pick up. We'll be straight with you about which option saves money.
